GOSPEL PENTECOSTAL ASSEMBLY (G.P.A.)
G.P.A. was founded in September 1959 by Late Rev. Elkana Akinsola BADEJO with six members in the house of one of the members at no. 53, Martin Street, Mushin Lagos. The church later moved to the Present National HQ location sometime in 1960. The late General Overseer was called to Glory on the 4th June 1999 at the age of 75 years.
The General Overseer of the church is Rev. D.A Owolabi . The church is fast growing with over sixty-five (65) ministers, one hundred and four (104) Elders, Deacons, and Deaconesses.
GPA has a vision to spread the gospel of the Lord Jesus to all parts of Nigeria, and then to West African sub regions and all parts of the World. To this end Missionary Evangelists have been employed and deployed to Mission fields to plant churches while others are being trained for Mission work. We believe the Lord for collaboration efforts in foreign Mission work with individuals and corporate bodies in foreign countries. At moment, GPA source of finance is solely dependent on voluntary donations by the members.
As the Lord opens more doors we hope to preach and plant churches not only in other countries of the West African sub-region, but in all parts of Africa and beyond, the instruction of the master is that we have reach our to all parts of the World with no exception. This is our goal and target; we cannot afford to neglect this great commission because necessity is placed upon us.

3. Executive Member of Nigeria Evangelical Fellowship
4. Nigeria Bible Translation Trust – A body translating the Bible to Nigerian Languages.
